Last week our marriage got fixed. We decided to go on a date on the weekends but our Italy branch is facing a crisis with leaked information on our shipments, causing the loss of three important deals. We've a mole in our ranks. I'm heading to Italy urgently to investigate and strengthen security. 

I've already apologized to her regarding the situation, and she assured me that she's completely fine and doesn't mind. I'm thankful that she understands. I really hope that things settle as soon as possible so that I can go back and spend some time with her.

ONE MONTH IN ITALY

The situation in Italy hasn't improved, and I find myself needing to stay here until things settle down. We're actively working on finding the mole. I will rip that assholes skin and sprinkle salt on his wounds. How dare he mess with me? No one can save that fucker from me! 

It's frustrating that my schedule is so hectic, making it difficult to connect with her. Even when I have a moment, she's often occupied with surgeries or meetings. The lack of communication makes me wonder how'll we adjust with each other after marriage. I hope everything resolves soon.

FOUR MONTHS IN ITALY

Even after we caught hold of the mole , the challenges persist as we uncover the involvement of the Russian mafia in the drug dealing. I've decided to dismantle their operation entirely; otherwise, they may pose a threat again. The mole belonged to the accounts department of our Italy branch. He is confined to rot at one of our warehouses.

Communication with Samyukta has been limited, but I've learned that her exams are underway. In an effort to communicate, I sent her some Chanel bags as a gift along with a letter. Hope she feels a little better. Once the situation is under control, I plan to return home.

Samyukta's POV

It's been four months since our marriage was fixed, and he went to Italy to address issues in the pharmaceutical company. With the stress of our second year of DNB in the hospital, communication has been so scarce. Today, I received a parcel from Italy, containing Chanel bags and a letter from him.

The letter read:

"I wish we could talk some more, but our situations wouldn't let us. I heard your exams are going on. Don't be stressed. I know you'll do well. Keep yourself hydrated and take proper naps in between study sessions. I hope you like the bags I sent. If you already have them or don't like them, then text me, and I'll get them replaced. I'll try to return as soon as matters here are settled down. Take care of yourself. Bye."

His words brought a smile to my face, and I responded:

"I liked the bags. All of them. Thank you. I've been taking care of myself. I understand that situations are tough right now. You please take care. Everything will be back on track. Don't stress yourself. Bye."

EIGHT MONTHS IN ITALY

Abhimanyu's POV

Finally the racket has been successfully dismantled, and everything is back on track with enhanced security and surveillance measures. I'll be returning to India next week. Additionally, I'm thrilled as I'll be getting engaged to Samyukta next week, followed by our wedding the week after.

We hardly had any conversation with each other in all these eight months. I don't know how we'll adjust after getting married. I'll have to make sure she's comfortable with me. Even though she has better chemistry with my family than me but she is going to live with me right? So I need to make sure she's fine here with me.

I'm excited to return home after a long time...
