On Sunday, the Chauhans visited the Rathore mansion, bringing along lavish gifts like jewelry, clothes, and sweets to fix the marriage between their son and the Rathores' beloved daughter. Amidst laughter and shared stories, the Chauhans presented their gifts, symbolizing not just tradition and affluence but a heartfelt desire for a union that transcended individual lives. The evening unfolded as a blend of hope and familial bonds, creating a warm atmosphere

Samyukta's POV

Today, we went to the Rathores' mansion for dinner, and everyone was really happy because our families are going to be one soon. Bhaiyaa and Shree looked super happy too. They were a bit worried about how everyone would feel, but thankfully, everything turned out great, and everyone is excited about the wedding. My parents have always liked Abhishree a lot. She's been coming to our house since she was really young, maybe four or even younger. I've been doing the same at her place. We've been studying together and having fun for a long time, and we still do. Abhishree used to stay over at our place for sleepovers, just like I did at her house. My mom is really happy about the relationship. She told me this morning that she feels peaceful because my brother is marrying such a good woman with a kind heart. We all had dinner together, talked about the wedding, and playfully teased the couple sometimes.

After dinner, we all moved to the lawn, and our panditji had joined us by then. He suggested having the engagement in November and the wedding in December. I got appointed as the wedding planner, and even though I know it's going to be tiring to balance work and the wedding, I'm super excited to do it. Shree trusts my taste and style (I know I'm the best at this), so she wants me to plan her wedding. Everyone is pumped up and looking forward to the wedding!

I noticed Abhimanyu looking at everyone with a smile on his face as they kept discussing the wedding. In these six months, all I was able to notice that he was a quite person. During our childhood days also he was the same I guess. We never really interacted much ever. He didn't speak much but at the same time he didn't fail to exhibit his powerful, intimidating aura anywhere he went. The way he ate, spoke (no matter how much less it his), walked, sat...everything was all king style. He is indeed a Rathore. Moreover, he is a mystery.ย

There was a gentle smile playing on his lips as he observed everyone. Over these six months, I began to notice more about him, realizing that he was a quiet person. Even in our childhood, he seemed to carry the same demeanor. We never really interacted much, but now that I notice him, there was something intriguing about him. His words were few, but his presence exuded a powerful and somewhat intimidating aura. The way he conducted himselfโ€”whether it was in how he ate, spoke (however sparingly), walked, or satโ€”was regal. Undeniably a Rathore and a mystery.ย

Author's POV

The wedding will take place in Jodhpur, at the royal palace of the Rathores.ย

For the past five decades, both the Chauhans and the Rathores made a strategic move to relocate their business empires to Jaipur. The decision was fueled by the city's advantageous connectivity with the rest of the country, paving the way for substantial growth and influence. Jaipur became the nucleus of their business operations, hosting many of their major headquarters and serving as the epicenter for their joint mafia syndicate.

This relocation not only strengthened their business ventures but also consolidated their power in the realm of organized crime. The bustling streets of Jaipur concealed the intricate network of their syndicate. The alliance between the Chauhans and Rathores had not only stood the test of time but had flourished in the royal ambiance of Jaipur, where business and organized crime merged seamlessly forming a sophisticated web of influence and intrigue that painted a rich and complex picture.

Abhimanyu's POV

Today my sister's marriage got fixed with my best friend.ย The Chauhans came over to our mansion for dinner and had discussed the wedding with my family.ย

I'm happy for my Shree. She deserves a family like the Chauhans. Samrat's mother, Sarla kaki sa seems most happy with this relationship. Aside of the union of both the royal families, she is happy that she is getting another daughter she adores. She used to adore Abhishree just like Samyukta. My mother shares the same sentiment. She loves Samyukta like her own daughter. Shree calls kaki sa as Sarla ma while Samyukta calls our mother as Nandini ma. It makes my heart flutter- her calling my mother 'ma'.

Today, the Chauhans came with so many hampers along with them. All the members of both the family was present today. Samyukta was as always looking ethereal.ย

I shouldn't think about her much.

She was wearing a light green salwar suit with minimal makeup and jewelry yet didn't fail to look beautiful.

Think about something else. The food was nice. Also the people. Aghh!!! Not people justย one woman. No no. Stop it Abhi.

The engagement is in just two months. A lot has to be prepared. I've been assigned to look for the best diamond jewelries for my sister and I'll ensure to choose the most exquisite pieces. Also, Ma and Dadi Sa have entrusted me with the duty of selecting beautiful diamond pieces for the Chauhans as well. We plan to gift them some of our high-quality diamonds in the wedding.

I'm tired now. I've to sleep. The wedding preparations are going to start from tomorrow. There's much to be accomplished. With a sigh, I let the fatigue settle in, and my eyes gently close as I surrender to a deep slumber.
